Tianjin – A total of 48 projects invested 50.94 billion yuan ($7.6 billion) at a trade fair held in Tianjin, North China on Thursday.
Among the 48 projects signed by the Tianjin International Investment and Trade Fair in China, the total domestic investment of 37 projects was 36.43 billion yuan, and the foreign investment of 11 projects was 14.5 billion yuan.
Among them, 27 are related to the service industry, with a total investment of 21.66 billion yuan. Another 16 companies involved in advanced manufacturing, smart manufacturing and high-tech industries, invested 23.33 billion yuan, 5 new energy and new materials, and invested 5.95 billion yuan.
The China Tianjin International Investment and Trade Fair opened in Tianjin on Thursday, with a focus on openness, cooperation and high quality development.
Company executives and officials from 36 countries and regions will participate in this year’s exhibition, with a booth area of 60,000 square meters and 2,868 booths, of which 468 booths will attract international talents to jointly develop the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The fair will last until April 22 and is expected to attract 200,000 visitors in the next four days.
