The 2019 China Brand Day event will be held in Shanghai from May 10th to 12th as part of China’s greater efforts to pursue high quality development.
“This activity will help to further enhance and promote social understanding of the brand while developing and protecting its own brands. Consumers will better understand high-quality independent brands,” said Wang Dong, an official with the Ministry of Development and Industry. And the reform committee held a press conference in Beijing.
The event will be organized by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Market Regulatory Authority, the State Intellectual Property Office and the Shanghai Municipal Government.
Focusing on high-quality Chinese brands, the event will have a major forum and seven sub-forums covering topics related to brand building, high quality development, information consumption, brand marketing and trademarks.
More than 200 self-owned brands will showcase their products in the showroom, covering a wide range of industries: textiles and clothing, information technology, automotive, food, leather, common chemicals, household appliances, ceramics, watches, sporting goods and instruments.
With the approval of the State Council, the China Brand Day opened on May 10, 2017.
