Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs, Announcement No. 106, 2018, Announces Relevant Matters Concerning the Catalogue Adjustment of Old Mechanical and Electrical Products Prohibited from Import
In order to further improve the import system, according to the “External Trade Law of the People’s Republic of China”, “Regulations on the Administration of Import and Export of Goods of the People’s Republic of China” and other laws, administrative regulations and relevant regulations, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs have carried out a catalogue of old mechanical and electrical products that are prohibited from being imported. The adjustment is now announced and will be implemented from January 1, 2019.
This announcement is interpreted by the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs. In the event that any relevant provisions in the past are inconsistent with this announcement, this announcement shall prevail. On December 27, 2001, the Catalogue of Prohibited Imported Goods (Second Batch) promulgated by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, the General Administration of Customs and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine was abolished at the same time.
