China has been stepping up efforts to promote the reform of the trademark application approval process and improve the quality and efficiency of the IPR review process.
The China’s trademark registration review cycle was shortened to less than five and a half months.
According to the National Development and Reform Commission, at the same time, the trademark renewal fee is reduced by 50% to 500 yuan, and the trademark change fee is reduced from 250 yuan to 150 yuan from July 1.
