According to local customs reports on Thursday, the foreign trade volume of Zhengzhou – Central China’s Henan Province and the Belt and Road countries of 2019 was 21.89 billion yuan ($3.25 billion).
Zhengzhou Customs said that this figure increased by 1.7% year-on-year.
In the past three months, the trade volume with the countries along the Belt and Road in March was 7.83 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.5%.
The trade growth trend of private enterprises in Henan this year along with the “Belt and Road” countries, the trade volume was 11.01 billion yuan, an increase of 26% over the previous year.
The trade volume with ASEAN countries reached 11.29 billion yuan, accounting for more than half of the province’s total trade.
According to customs statistics, since 2013, the trade volume between Henan and countries along the “Belt and Road” has continued to grow, with an average annual growth rate of more than 10%.
