China is a big country for sunflowert and melon seed consumption, and the consumption of sunflowert and melon seeds is increasing with the strong demand for snack foods. In different consumption areas of cities across the country, certain consumer groups, consumer tastes, and regional brands have been formed to varying degrees. Because of the good quality and high grade of melon seeds, a large number of domestic melon seeds are exported to Japan, South Korea, Russia, the United States and other countries.
Shihezi General Field is the largest distribution center for melon seeds in the northwest region. The annual trading volume is more than 2 billion yuan. Not only the various regions in the region, Tacheng, Altay, Changji, Korla and other places are transported to Shihezi in the autumn. After the initial processing, it will be transported to Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong and other places for further processing. Most of the products are exported to Japan, South Korea and Europe and the United States. For example, if the melon seed primary processing industry chain is extended, the technical content is increased, the added value is added, and the deep processing package is sent to the Mainland. The products can also be submitted to the Shihezi Customs and Shihezi Import and Export Inspection and Quarantine Bureau for distribution to the Central Asia via rail. In Europe, the export of sea ports such as Lianyungang, Tianjin Port and Dalian Port not only saves transportation costs but also shortens transportation distance and customs clearance time.
Construction Content: The project covers an area of 30 acres. The annual processing of sunflower seeds is 5,000 tons, and the annual processing of melon seeds is 5,000 tons. The project is located in Shihezi National Agricultural Science and Technology Park. (Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Shihezi National Agricultural Science and Technology Park is the first batch of national agricultural science and technology parks in China. It is located in the northern suburb of Shihezi City, Xinjiang, adjacent to the famous tourist attractions of Shihezi and other places in the Shihezi area.
