The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said in a statement that the prices of China’s home prices in four first-tier cities – Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou – rose 0.2% in March, down from 0.3% in the previous month. February.
The prices of new homes in 31 second-tier cities rose by 0.6%, and house prices in 35 third-tier cities rose by 0.7%.
As the price of new homes rose slightly, resale home prices showed signs of rebound.
Resale home prices in the four first-tier cities rose by an average of 0.3% from the previous month, while house prices in 31 second-tier cities rose 1.2%, compared with a 0.2% decline in February.
In 10 of the 70 cities, the price of resale houses fell in March, down from 14 in February.
Liu Jianwei, senior statistician of the National Bureau of Statistics, said that the local government formulated a differentiated real estate policy in March to maintain the stable development of the real estate market and the continuation of policies.
Compared with the same period of last year, the prices of new homes in first-tier cities rose slightly by 4.2% in March, while the prices of new homes in second-tier cities and third-tier cities rose by 12.2% and 11.4% respectively.
Compared with a year ago, the prices of houses in most Chinese cities have also increased, and the growth rates of second- and third-tier cities are higher than those of big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.
